Jai Inder Kaur pays her obeisance at Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib

Fatehgarh Sahib : Bharatiya Janata Party Vice President and Daughter of ex-CM Captain Amarinder Singh, Jai Inder Kaur today paid her obeisance at Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, Gurudwara Sahib and remembered the martyrdom of younger Sahibzades and Mother of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

Talking to the media after paying her obeisance at Fatehgarh Sahib the BJP leader said, “The martyrdom of Chotte Sahibzade Baba Fateh Singh, Baba Zorawar Singh, Mata Gujri Ji and the entire family of 10 th Guru Sri Gobind Singh Ji is one of it’s kind extraordinary tale of bravery, belief and standing up for what’s right.”

She further said, “The extreme sacrifice that Guru Gobind Singh Ji and his entire family gave will remain an inspiration for all throughout the whole eternity. The Chotte Sahibzades were only 7 and 9 when they chose to sacrifice their lives but not give in to the tyranny of the Mughals.

Giving your life for the greater good at such a young age is unheard of and the sacrifice of Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s sons is the greatest in this entire world.”Talking about her family’s history with Fatehgarh Sahib Jai Inder Kaur said, “My family has had a special relation with Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, my grandfather Maharaja Yadavindra Singh Ji and Maharaja Karam Singh ji had done Kar sewa of the Gurdwara Sahib.

The historic Gurdwara Sahib was originally built by Maharaja Karam Singh Ji in the 19th century to commemorate the martyrdom of Sahibzada Zorawar Singh Ji and Sahibzada Fateh Singh Ji. After Independence, my grandfather along with the Sikh Sangat got the renovation work done of the old building and also a new main entrance to the Gurdwara complex was built by them.”
