CGC Jhanjeri Shines in PTU’s Merit Lists

Jhanjeri : Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri once again repeated its tradition of dominating the Merit Lists of Punjab Technical University. In the recently displayed Merit Lists, 9 students have captured first positions while 83 others have bagged Second to Tenth prestigious positions in the University. The toppers of PTU include Jaspreet Kaur, Shreya Papneja and Harsimranjeet Kaur of CSE, Simranjeet Kaur and Neha of ECE, Poonam Sharma, Harsimran Kaur and Shubham of FT, Prabhjot Kaur of B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons.). In all, the Merit List position holders comprise of 16 students from B. Tech CSE, 13 from B.Tech ECE, 05 from B.Tech Mechanical and 06 from B.Tech Civil bringing the total numbers of B.Tech students to 40.
Number of students from Faculty of Management is 52. It includes 27 students of FT, 10 of B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons.), 6 of B.Com (Hons.), 4 of MBA, 4 of BBA,and 1 of M.Com. Thus bringing the total number of Merit List positions to 92.Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC congratulated all the students for bringing this enviable honour to the college. He attributed this marvelous achievement to the hard work of students as well as the teachers. Arsh Dhaliwal, Managing Director said that right from the establishment of this college in 2012, the students have been getting this honourable status in all examinations conducted by IKGPTU.
