Junior Sports Day organised at Shemrock School

Mohali : Shemrock Senior Secondary School Sector 69 organized sports day for junior students in which tiny tots participated enthusiastically. Principal Shemrock School, Prineet Sohal while motivating the students urged them to show their team spirit.
She further added that games develop different qualities like leadership, positive attitude, feeling of competition, positive self-esteem through accomplishments in the tiny tots.The spectacular performances of the students in the Parachute drill and Yogasanas mesmerized the audiences.
Tiny tots participated in various games like Scoop toss with different ball, Pass the ball, Hockey Drill race ,Claus race, Flag race, Hoop and ball race, Hoop and ball race, Hurdles mask race, Cross the river race, Racket and ball race, Frisbee and ball race, Kangroo race, Balance Master, Pick & drop Hockey and ball race etc.
Fun activities with parents and teachers added more fun to the enjoyment. First class students Ojas Batish, Agampreet Singh & Namandeep Arora got first position in different catergaries. While from second class kavreen Kaur, Namanveer Singh bansal & Samyak Raizada bagged first postions.
Aarav Rajput, Agampreet Kaur & Aradhya Sharama got first position in different games of clade third competitions. From Fourth Class Kristi Batra, Gurnoor Singh Gill & Gurnoor singh captured first position.
From fifth class Rableen Kaur, Amrit Singh, Hitesh Dhawan took first positions in different events. Overall Trophy and best march past trophy winner was Stanford house.
While distributing prizes to the winners Chairman of the school A.S.Bajwa said that Regular involvement in sports and physical activity is one of the best ways to promote health and fitness among the students. According to him sports are also helpful in the holistic development of children.
