Film Critic S. K. De honoured with Legend Dadasaheb Phalke Award

Mumbai : The renowned journalist and film critic, Sandip Kumar De better known as S. K. De was honoured with the prestigious Legend Dadasaheb Phalke Award on December 5 th, 2020 in Mumbai. The keenly awaited Legend Dadasaheb Phalke Awards 2020 was organised by Krishna Chouhan Foundation (KCF) at a glittering evening ceremony held at the Mayor’s Hall, Andheri West. This coveted award dedicated to Dadasaheb Phalke, the father of Indian Cinema, is an initiative to recognise the outstanding contribution of various people, primarily in the field of Indian movie industry or related to it and even to bring to limelight the individuals or organisations working selflessly towards social upliftment. Hence, this award will serve as a motivation for the real heroes of our motherland.S. K. De started his journey as a Journalist, Film Critic and Editor several years back and he has been associated with various newspapers and magazines; and throughout his entire career, he has won several accolades across India.Then after creating his mark in the print media industry, he joined the digital media industry bandwagon. S.K. De has been known for his unparalleled presence on various digital platforms including Rajshri Media ‘s Bollywood Now and Bollywood Masala channels as Editor-in-Chief, Chief Correspondent, Voice Over Artist & Film Critic.
As a Film Critic and Editor in Chief, S. K. De has been responsible for the phenomenal success of various leading digital platforms across diverse segments. S. K. De was earlier ranked amongst the Top Branding experts worldwide according to an independent survey. He has even lent his voice for numerous projects related to Bollywood, Hollywood and the corporate world.S. K. De was felicitated with the Legend Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2020 for his outstanding contribution as a Film Critic and Voice Over Artist.
