Shimla : Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today offered floral tributes to the former Prime Minister of India late Rajiv Gandhi on his statue at Rajiv Chowk Chhota Shimla on his 76th birth anniversary.He also administered oath of unity and integrity on the occasion.Chief Minister said that late Rajiv Gandhi laid down his life for the integrity and unity of the Nation. He said that his contributions towards the Nation would be remembered by the people of the country.Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj, President Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee Kuldeep Rathore, former Speaker Vidhan Sabha Gangu Ram Musafir, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Shimla Satya Kaundal, Councillors of MC Shimla, Deputy Commissioner Amit Kashyap, Commissioner, Shimla Municipal Corporation Pankaj Rai, SP Omapati Jamwal and other distinguished people also paid floral tributes to the former Prime Minister.
