Shimla : Chairman, Greenberry RKG Group Rajesh Kumar Gupta called on Governor Bandaru Dattatraya at Raj Bhavan today and donated one sanitizer machine and face masks for the state government to fight the COVID-19.Rajesh Gupta apprised the Governor that the Group had previously donated Rs. 21 lakhs for HP CM Relief Fund, Rs. 11 lakhs for PM Cares and Rs. 5 lakhs for UP CM Relief Fund. He informed that the Group also distributed around 1.5 lakhs face masks in every panchayats of Theog and Narkanda Block during last month in Shimla district.The Governor appreciated the efforts of the Group and said that in this period of crisis, sanitizers and masks were necessary for safety of the people. The private sector was supporting the government in fighting the COVID-19 and helping the common people, which was a good gesture, he added.Later, Adv. Arun Bhool from Shimla also donated face masks and sanitizers to the Raj Bhavan staff to fight the Coronavirus.
