Shimla : Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur was here today presented a cheque of Rs. 12.40 lakh by President Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh Industrialists Association Sanjay Khurana on behalf of the Association to Chief Minister Covid-19 Fund to help the State government in fighting covid-19 pandemic. Chief Minister thanked for this philanthropic gesture and said that such contributions go a long way in helping the needy in the hour of distress.Sanjay Khurana said that Association had earlier provided Rs. 31.47 lakh on 7th May and Rs. 50 lakh on 19th May, 2021 towards Chief Minister Covid-19 Fund. He said that Association has also established Isolation Centre of 200 beds at Baddi and also provided set of 200 beds for Covid Care Centre at Baddi and Nalagarh. He said that 25000 masks, 50 pulse oximeters, 54 oxygen concentrators have also been provided by the Association.General Secretary of the Association Y.S. Guleria and Advisor Himachal Drug Manufacturers Association (HDMA) Satish Singhal were also present on the occasion.
