Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur campaigned in the city

Chandigarh : Union Information & Broadcasting Minister and Sports & Youth Affairs Minister Anurag Thakur has appealed to the people from the hill state of HImachal Pradesh to vote in favor of BJP’ during the upcoming MC polls. While lauding the role of native Himachalis, Thakur affirmed that the interests of fellow Himachalis are safe and secure with BJP which is already clearly indicated from the parent state of BJP-led Himachal Pradesh.Anurag Thakur was in the city on Sunday to address a series of public meetings in support of party candidate Rajinder Sharma (ward no 35) in Sector-48 and Prince Bandula (ward no 13) at PU Campus and indoor meeting with Ravinder Rawat (ward no. 27) in Sector 40.

Anurag Thakur said that the ‘double engine’ govts has proved to be very beneficial for the UT residents. He said that whatever scheme has been implemented by the Central Government, Chandigarh is the first one to be its beneficiary. Many schemes are being implemented in future, which will benefit the locals here. He said that the PM Modi led Centre Govt is turning out to be the favorite in nook and corner of the country and recent MC Elections win in the cities of North East State are the clear evident of itAlso present on the occasion includes program incharge Gurpreet Singh, Ward President Neelam Sahi, Pramod Chauhan, Azad Kumar Pankaj, Vijay Bali, Shivendra, Rajesh Dogra and others.
