Russian missile hits six-storey apartment building in Kharkiv

Kiev : A Russian missile has hit a six-storey apartment building in Ukraine’s central Kharkiv, said State Emergency Service in Kharkiv Oblast on Facebook.The building has been partially destroyed. As of 4:30 a.m., rescuers were able to rescue one elderly woman and continue to clear away the rubble, the Ukrainska Pravda reported on Monday.
Three explosions were heard in Kharkiv early Monday morning, of which the first one was heard at around 3:32 a.m.The State Emergency Service said: “On Sunday evening, Kharkiv suffered another three missile attacks.One missile hit a six-storey residential building in the Osnovianskyi district.
One of the entrances and all the flats that could be accessed through it were completely destroyed in the explosion.”State Emergency Service workers were able to recover an 86-year-old woman from under the rubble, who lives in an apartment on the first floor, the Ukrainska Pravda reported.
However, there were no casualties or fatalities. Rescue and search operations are continuing at the site of the missile strike.”Another two missiles hit a yard near a storage depot in the Osnovianskyi district and a school in the Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv.”
