Bandipora : The 3rd randomization of polling staff for upcoming District Development Council (DDC) re-poll of Hajin A was carried out today at Mini-Secretariat, here under the supervision of District Panchayat Election officer (DPEO) Bandipora Dr. Owais Ahmed and General Observer Riyaz Ahamd Shah.
The randomization process was also attended by Nodal Officer Election monitoring Mohd Ashraf Hakak, Dy DEO Bandipora, Tehsildar Sumbal, DIO Bandipora Expenditure Observer Rafiq Ahmad Shah, representatives of contesting candidates and other concerned.
At the outset the participants were briefed about the randomization and other related processes. Dr. Owais said randomization is done with dedicated software without human intervention aimed to ensure free and fair elections.
He said 57 polling teams were created with sufficient and able manpower and reserve teams. It was given out that for the DDC re-poll of Hajin-A there are 12 polling locations with 57 polling stations.
It was further informed that the re-poll for DDC constituency Hajin-A is scheduled on 5th December 2022. Dr. Owais said, training for the poll staff has already been completed to avoid any type of misconception and ensure smooth conduct of re-poll.
