DC Poonch Inder Jeet reviews arrangements for Republic Day celebrations

Poonch : To review the arrangements for Republic Day (R-Day) celebrations and full dress rehearsal, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Poonch on Thursday chaired a meeting of concerned officers at Dakbunglow Poonch.
The meeting discu
ses various measures to be taken up in view of forthcoming Republic day and various preparations to be done by departments. The meeting was told that the Republic Day celebrations will begin with playing of Shehnai Vadan at designated places by the Information Department in the wee hours.
The DC directed all the concerned departments to make fool proof arrangements for R-Day celebration and Full dress rehearsal. He asked the officers to play an active role and work in coordination for the grand celebration besides making all arrangements with responsibility.
The DC asked the security agencies to ensure fool proof security at all venues and also a detailed discussion were also held on various issues regarding seating arrangements, barricading, security, traffic regulation, drinking water and power supply, sanitation, first-aid, PAS, fire-tenders, Media gallery etc.
The contingents of Police, CRPF, JKP, JKPQRT Commando, Home Guard, NCC from degree college Poonch besides Police Band will be the part of celebration. The meeting was attended by Senior Superintendent of Police, Rohit Baskotra, Additional District Development Commissioner Poonch, Malikzada Sheraz Ul Haq, Additional Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Tahir Mustafa Malik, CEO Tourism, Dr. Mohammad Tanveer, Gen.Manager DIC, Dr.Zakir Hussain, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Poonch, Zaheer Ahmed Kaifi, CPO Pooncch, Maqsood Ahmed, Prof.Fateh Mohammad Abasi, Dr. Zakir, Tehsildar Haveli, Anjum Bashir Khattak, District Treasury Officer, Abdul Rashid Dostum, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Naheem Un Nissa Bhatti, District Information Officer, Vishaldèep Chandàn, CEO Municipality, Varinderpal Singh, Hqr Assistant, Jahangir Hussain, Chief Education Officer, Bishamber Das, Inspector MVD, Republic Day commentator, Pardeep Khanna, DYSSO Poonch, Mohammad Qasim, AD Food Ranjeet Singh, DPO, Narinder Mohan Suri, Deputy Director Employment, Xen PHE, Muneer Hussain, Xen PDD, Irshad Hussain and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
