DC Rajouri Vikas Kundal discusses District Skill Development plan for next 3 hours

Rajouri : District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to discuss the District Skill Development plan for the financial year 2023-24, 2024-25 and FY 2025-26 in the district.
Officers present in the meeting were CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; GM DIC, Ashwini Sharma; Principal ITI Rajouri, Rashid Sheikh; CAO, Sohan Singh; LDM, Sanjeev Bhasin and other concerned officers.
Addressing the officers, the District Development Commissioner said that skill development of youth is the priority of the Government and many initiatives have been taken in this regard.
He also referred to scores of measures being taken by the Govt to boost skill among the youth and asked the concerned officers to take effective measures and train maximum unemployed youth of the district under different skill development programs.
The DDC asked the concerned officers to explore new modalities to hone the abilities of the talented youth of the district by taking skill development to grassroots level.
He further asked the concerned officers to put all their efforts to upgrade the skill sets of the youth according to the needs of the market and make them ready for future jobs.
The concerned departments have been directed to submit the information regarding the human resources required so that a comprehensive skill development plan for the next three financial years can be formulated at the earliest.
