Public Grievance Redressal camp held at Wadipora Chadoora

Budgam : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, S F Hamid today chaired a public grievances redressal camp at Panchayat Halqa Wadipora of Block BK Pora in Chadoora.
The programme was held at Government Primary School Wadipora, where PRIs, respected elders and local youth delegations from villages Wadipora, Hayatpora, Sofi Mohalla, Kanil, Sheikh Mohalla and Brarigund raised their demands with the DC.
The DC gave patients hearing to the visiting individuals and delegations and assured them that all their genuine demands shall be addressed on priority.
At the outset, the DC instructed CEO Budgam and BDO BK Pora to ensure development of paths, boundary walls and additional accompanied works at local government schools to ensure better educational facilities to students.
The DC appreciated local panchayat and other residents for maintaining sanitation and cleanliness across Panchayat Halqa Wadipora. He instructed PDD authorities to ensure execution of HT, LT improvement works on priority.
DC directed BDO BK Pora to ensure development of the playground on a fast track basis and distribution of sports equipment among local on war footing so that local youth are actively involved in sports activities.
He also took assessment of transport, healthcare and drinking water facilities and asserted that concerned shall ensure improvement and better facilities to locals.
Stressing on awareness generation about government schemes, the DC also urged locals to register under different self-employment, welfare and amnesty schemes to take maximum benefits under these schemes.
The DC also took assessment of facilities related to Sheep and Animal husbandry, Horticulture, Agriculture and other allied sectors being provided to locals at these centres.
Among others, ADDC Budgam Dr Akramullah Tak, SDM Chadoora, Prince Noorul Hamid, ARTO, Executive Engineers from all Engineering Wings and other officers concerned were also present on the occasion.
