DDC Bandipora reviews Education Sector

Bandipora : The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Bandipora, Zahoor Ahmad Mir Tuesday chaired a meeting to review the achievements and activities of the education department in the district.Chief Education Officer, Bandipora apprised the DDC about a specially designed study module which stands delivered through message to all the students to ensure continuation of their studies besides lecturers are also being delivered by the teachers via zoom app to the students.He said efforts were made to accommodate as many students as possible adding that assignments were also made available through the official website www.ceobpr.in with their hard copies also distributed via respective schools.The DDC on the occasion was informed by CEO that 417 schools have been linked to online classes and 2683 lecturers, masters and teachers have been involved in virtual classes through zoom app, video lecturing and conference calls delivering 7160 lectures so far benefitting 46337 students from Class 1st to 12th in the district.It was informed in the meeting that the lectures are being delivered live on a dedicated channel through local cable network in three zones and it was also given out that 366 lectures have been recorded so far and broadcasted through Channel No 102 daily.The DDC said the district administration will provide every possible-assistance to the students to improve the e-learning, he urged the concerned officers to implement the initiatives of the Education Department regarding online classes for the students in letter and spirit, so that the loss is compensated through the virtual media.CEO Bandipora, DEPO, all the ZEOs, Principals of the Higher Secondary Schools and Headmasters of High Schools of the district attended the meeting.
