Samba : District Development Commissioner, Samba Anuradha Gupta, today took a detailed review of development works of various departments at a meeting, held here at Mini conference hall, DC office.The meeting was attended by Additional District Development commissioner, Tilak Raj Shastri; PO ICDS Anu Bhel; Assistant Commissioner Development Sidharath Dhiman; PO IWMP, besides block development officers and other officials were also present.The respective district heads of the departments gave a detailed presentation regarding physical and financial achievements under various schemes being implemented in the district.Threadbare discussion was held on progress achieved under CAPEX, MGNREGA, 14th FC Plan, SBM, PMAY and other schemes.The District Development Commissioner, while reviewing the schemes exhorted upon officers to pace up execution of works and ensure timely payments. The DDC directed BDOs to personally monitor the execution of each work in their jurisdictions.The District Development commissioner laid emphasis upon ensuring timely disbursement of payments amidst Covid pandemic and sought cooperation from each department in achieving 100% saturation under all beneficiary oriented schemes.
