DC inspects progress of work on Developmental projects in Kishtwar Town

Kishtwar : Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav, along with a team of Revenue and PWD functionaries conducted spot inspection of ongoing and proposed developmental projects in Kishtwar Town and its peripheries.
He took stock of various impediments and resolved them by passing on spot directions to concerned authorities. During the inspection he was accompanied by Tehsildar Umar Muneeb; EXEN R&B, Ravinder Kumar; AE Mechanical Division, Umar Mushtaq besides concerned Gurdwar, Patwaries.
He listened to issues of people including owners of land acquired for circular road viz Diwaroo to Duga road near Malipeth and assured to resolve their cases as per norms.
He conducted spot inspection along the alignment of the road and issued necessary directions to concerned Officers. Tehsildar and Executive Engineer PWD were directed to strictly adhere to alignment and ensure that the road is completed in stipulated time frame.
He said that strict action shall be taken against those creating hurdles in the developmental projects under relevant provisions of Law. He said that the proposed road is of immense importance to tackle the issues of traffic congestion in the Kishtwar Town.
Meanwhile, DC visited the site for construction of Slaughter Houses and assessed the land feasibility for the same. He directed Tehsildar Kishtwar to explore the possibility for sufficient state land for the slaughterhouses for their time bound completion.
Besides, he directed the Executing agencies for timely submission of DPR for the projects. He also visited the Langar shed site at Shalimar and directed the concerned officers to start leveling and developing the site into a transit truck parking space.
Later, he along with the concerned officers travelled on foot to inspect the National Highway alignment from Munshi Gwari to Bimar Nag and stressed for the proper and judicious utilization of state land.
He directed the concerned to identify and demarcate state land along the NH for developmental projects in near future.
