DC Kishtwar inspects working of Jamabandi Digitisation Centres

Kishtwar : Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar, Devansh Yadav today visited Jamabandi digitisation centres established in DC Office Complex, Tehsil Office Complex Kishtwar and other locations to take first hand appraisal of the ongoing digitisation exercise.
He was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Varunjeet Singh Charak, Tehsildars, NTs and other officials.During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner took stock of the progress of digitisation of Jamabandies and passed necessary directions to the concerned.
The ACR gave Tehsil wise resume of digitisation of Jamabandi and updation of revenue records in these centres.The DC stressed upon the concerned Tehsildars to gear up the field functionaries to accomplish the task within the set deadline of September 9, 2022.
Further, he directed the concerned heads to rationalise and utilize the services of the technical staff/operators from other departments, if needed.During the inspection, he also reviewed the progress of uploading of revenue records under PM-Kissan.
He asked the functionaries of Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare to work in tandem with Revenue officials to complete the up-dation and maintenance of land records in a time bound manner to facilitate the public to access their land records online on the designated platform.
Meanwhile, the DC, along with ADDC, Sham Lal also met with a Hungarian National at Helipad Army camp at Kishtwar who lost his way in Umasi-La Pass in Himalayan Ranges while trekking and later was rescued and airlifted for treatment by Indian Army along with Airforce under supervision of District Administration Kishtwar.DC Kishtwar enquired about his well being and assured him of every possible help.
