Implementation of ABD Programme, SAMPAN project reviewed in Kishtwar

Kishtwar : To review the progress in the implementation of developmental programmes under Good Governance index, Aspirational Block Development Programme (ABDP) and SAMPAN project, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kishtwar Sham Lal today convened a meeting of concerned officers here in his office Chamber.
The meeting was attended by JD-Planning Mohd Iqbal, SDM Marwah Dr Mohsin Raza, DPO Kishtwar Sunil Bhutyal, DSEO Kishtwar Akhil Thakur, DSWO Zubair Ahmed, AD Employment Kishtwar, Amit Kumar, CAHO, Dr Sanjay Kumar Sen besides representatives of concerned departments.
During the meeting, the ADDC took sector wise review of the schemes and programmes being carried out in Marwah and Warwan Blocks under Aspirational Block Developmental programme envisaging improvement in socio-economic uplift of these areas.
Besides, the performance on different developmental indicators of the District Good Governance Index was also reviewed in the meeting. The officers were instructed to work in tune with prescribed guidelines to achieve the set benchmarks under ABDP, GGI with main focus on poverty alleviation, promotion of education (re-enrollment of dropout students) development of basic infrastructure, agriculture, health and nutrition needs in these blocks.
The ADDC stressed upon the concerned officers to ensure 100 percent saturation of beneficiaries under different individual oriented beneficiary schemes and other social security schemes.
Expressing dissatisfaction over marginal performance under GGI, the ADDC stressed upon all the departments to put in extra efforts to achieve the desired results in the assigned parameters.
He directed heads of agriculture and allied Departments to ensure 100 percent saturation of farmers under Kissan Credit Card scheme to pave the way for doubling their income.
Furthermore, the CAO , CAHO, DSHO were directed to gear up the agriculture and allied sector activities rolled out under the umbrella schemes “SAMPAN” in a convergence mode to percolate down the benefits to the grassroots level.
Besides, directions were given to concerned Departments to ensure the release of Ist installment of sanctioned cases under PMAY (G) and PMAY(R).
Meanwhile, LDM Kishtwar was impressed to ensure the coverage of all eligible beneficiaries under Atal Pension Yojana besides coverage of all the employees under PM Saral Bima Yojana and PM-Jeevan Jyoti Beema Yojana.
AD, District Employment & Career Counseling was asked to speed up the approval of cases under Mumkin Scheme and ensure timely disbursement in favour of applicants so that the Employment generation indicator is improved in the District.
SDM Marwah was directed to monitor developmental activities in twin blocks under ABDP besides to conduct monthly and quarterly meeting to review the progress and push the prescribed activities so that set benchmarks are achieved.
