DLTFC approves 17 cases for financial help under JKREGP at Kulgam

Kulgam : A District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) meeting was held today at the mini secretariat here under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat.
A total of 17 cases were placed before the committee and all 17 cases were approved by the committee for Project cost of Rs.1.31 Crore involving margin money of Rs.45.85 lacs and providing employment opportunities to 250 educated unemployed youth.
The JKREGP scheme is being implemented by Jammu & Kashmir Khadi and Village Industries Board (J&K KVIB) to harness and divert the potential and enthusiasm of youth for establishment of productive enterprise in the micro industrial sector and to create employment opportunities for others.
The bank representatives were directed by the chair to take the credit decision within 28 days from the receipt of DLTFC recommended applications from the KVIB Kulgam, also no security will be insisted upon by the bank except in agriculture & allied beyond the project cost of Rs. 5 lacs.
