B2V4 witnesses huge public participation across Ramban

Ramban : ‘Back to Village’ Phase-4 programme successfully completed at all 143 Panchayats of 11 blocks of the district Ramban and witnessed huge public participation in planning and developmental activities.
The Visiting Officers conducted scheduled activities amid overwhelming response from the people, besides highlighting flagship schemes for women, youth, students and Senior Citizens.Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam extended gratitude to all Visiting Officers, PRIs, Officers and Officials of line departments, especially General Public for their participation and cooperation in making ambitious Back to Village Phase 4th programme a grand success in the district.
The officers during B2V4 visited Government establishments/ offices and reviewed their performance. The officers also reviewed the progress under various government schemes and developmental deliverables specified by the UT administration.
They also assessed the saturation of ADHAAR Card, Golden Health Cards, E-SHRAM card, KCC, Domicile, distribution of Land Pass books, and Old age, Widow and Handicapped pensions.
Special focus was led on the implementation of Swachh Bharat Mission to ensure disposal of Solid Waste, especially Single Use Plastic in rural areas of the District to implement ‘Swach Gaon Sunder Gaon Abhiyaan’.
Cultural programmes, pledges on Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyaan, Pledge on Ekta and Vigilance pledge, Sports activities especially indigenous rural games, and other activities gave a festive look to B2V4 programme from 28th of October which ended today.
During two day and one night visits to Panchayats, the visiting officers conducted special Gram Sabhas, a special audit of MGNREGA, PMAY, IHHL, CSCs, Amrit Sarovars and other schemes. They also held Mahila Sabhas and Bal Sabhas and interacted with women and children.
The VO along with PRIs also inaugurated several rural assets and infrastructure. They also highlighted self employment schemes sponsored by different government departments and distributed Sanctioned letters to the beneficiaries under PMEGP and other such schemes.
They also distributed Land passbooks among land owners, Golden Health Cards, Domicile certificates and E-Shram cards were also distributed during the program.The PRIs and general people highlighted their various demands pertaining to different sectors including education, tourism, healthcare, entrepreneurship, sanitation, water conservation, community building and youth related issues.
The departments involved shall be given a timeline to achieve the desired results, measurable through set parameters.
