Reasi : As part of the Government initiative My Town My Pride today Special Secretary Home Department, Asgar Hussain today conducted extensive visit of Reasi and interacted with the Urban Local Body (ULB) members as well as general public of Reasi town.
During the interaction, ULB members and locals of the town apprised the visiting officer several issues and demands related to basic amenities, power and water supply in the town and other developmental issues etc.
Responding to the issues and demands, Hussain assured that their genuine concerns would be redressed on a priority basis. While interacting with the public he informed that the government is committed to providing all basic facilities at the doorsteps of people.He took a round of the awareness stalls installed set up by different departments.
District Police Reasi also organised a Nukkad Natak on corruption in Katra town. Awareness of various government schemes in morning assembly in GHSS Reasi including Yoga Exercise and Tug of war competition was also organised under My Town My Pride 2.0 programme on day one . The visiting officer distributed land pass books ,Birth certificate among the beneficiaries.
