Bandaru Dattatreya directs to ensure qualitative education in private universities

Shimla : Member of Himachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission Dr S.P. Katyal called on Governor Bandaru Dattatraya at Raj Bhawan today. Expressing concern over the irregularities in some of the universities, the Governor said that the future of the students should not be compromised and their academic session should not be ruined. For this, the Commission should take initiative at its own level, as it was a question of the future of the students. He said that special attention should be given to qualitative education in private universities. He has asked the Commission to submit its status report on colleges and universities under their jurisdiction.Dr. Katyal briefed about the initiative taken by the Commission to ensure quality education and the process of monitoring higher educational institutions in the state.
