NCSC Chairman Vijay Sampla asks Cochin Port authority and Cochin Shipyard limited to redress issues of SC employees

Chandigarh : Instructing the CMD and senior officers of Cochin Port authority and Cochin Shipyard limited for immediate redressal of issues faced by Schedule Castes employees, Chairman National Commission for Schedule Castes Vijay Sampla yesterday night concluded the two-day visit to Kochi in Kerala, said NCSC issued in a press release issued here today in Chandigarh.
Sampla was accompanied by Vice Chairman Arun Halder, Member Subhash Ramnath Pardhiand, Member Dr. Anju Bala, and senior officers of the NCSC. On first day of his visit, Sampla met the representatives of the Schedule Caste Welfare association, Cochin Port Authority followed by a review meeting with its senior officers led by the Chairperson IAS Dr. M Beena.
On second day, Sampla had a long meeting with the office bearers of SC welfare Association, Cochin Shipyard Limited Kochi, followed by a detailed meeting with its CMD Madhu S Nair who came along with all the senior team. During review with the management of Cochin Port authority and Cochin Shipyard limited, Sampla not only issued instructions with regards to issues and problems of Schedule Caste employees but also told them clearly that he would shortly organize another high-level review meeting to confirm the implementation of the instructions issued by him.
