AAP gains strength in Mohali district, many personalities from Nayagaon joins party

Punjab unit incharge Jarnail Singh, LoP Harpal Cheema welcomed new joiners

Mohali : The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) gained momentum in Mohali district, when several personalities from Nayagaon joined the party on Tuesday at the party headquarters in the presence of state unit incharge and MLA from Delhi, Jarnail Singh and the Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Punjab Legislative Assembly, Harpal Singh Cheema.Among those who joined the party under the guidance of Jagdev Singh Maloya and former MC president Harbant Singh Bajwa, includes – Kulwant Singh, social worker, Babu Ram ji, former Block Samiti member, Satpal Sakhi of Valmiki Sabha Nayagaon, Bhupinder Singh, president, ex-servicemen wing Nayagaon, Sonu Bhatia, president Adarsh Society, Om Prakash Bhardwaj, Bhupinder Singh, both members of Bajwa Trust, Hazura Singh Babla, social worker, and youth leaders Satish, Mahinder Singh and Simran Bhateja.Welcoming all the leaders who joined the party, AAP Punjab incharge Jarnail Singh said that a large number of people were joining the party on a daily basis. He said that due to the commendable work being done by Arvind Kejriwal-led government in Delhi in the field of health and education, people were leaning towards AAP.Congratulating those who joined the party, Harpal Singh Cheema said that a large number of people from all over the state were joining AAP to create a new Punjab. He said that the party would be stronger with the hard work of the leaders and the ever increasing convoy of the party was putting a stamp on the work being done by AAP for the people. The leaders who joined the AAP, said that whatever responsibility would be given to them, they would work diligently to strengthen the party.
