Discussions regarding world-class education must be appreciated: Kultar Singh Sandhwan

Jhanjeri : Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri organised the International Diplomat Meet 2023. The big event saw the convergence of Diplomats from more than 12 countries and discussed problems faced by International Students in India. S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan, Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha was Chief Guest at the moment .
S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan, Hon’ble Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha expressed his delight that diplomats of various countries discussed requirements for world-class education, global competencies and international benchmarks of education for international students. He said the good education is tool for the creation of a healthy society.
A healthy environment is a basic need for the students. He said that such discussions must be appreciated. Various diplomats raised issues or problems being faced by International students who are studying in India, including the language barrier, the cultural gap and financial constraints to complete their studies .
CGC Jhanjeri’s ED Dr Neeraj Sharma assured all the diplomats that they would ensure that students would not face any such problem. Later, all the diplomats and Chief Guest headed to the auditorium and watched the cultural event including classical dance, bhangra and other presentations.
The eye-catching performance was dance by international students on a Punjabi song. Speaking on the occasion, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, CGC said that the progress of India only depends on strengthening education system and stress should be given on building stronger education systems.
