Ludhiana gets 34 new Aam Aadmi Clinics, takes total to 43

Ludhiana : In order to further enhance people’s access to quality healthcare at their doorsteps or neighbourhood, 34 more Aam Aadmi Clinics (AACs) were dedicated to the people of district Ludhiana, taking totality to 43 in the district.
These clinics will function digitally completely as tabs have been given to the doctors and lab staff which will help them to track medical history of patients easily. Further, this will also assist doctors in better diagnosing and treating patients.
Dedicating one of such clinics in Kot Mangal Singh locality under Ludhiana South constituency, MLA Rajinder Pal Kaur Chhina, Deputy Commissioner Surabhi Malik, said that it was a landmark decision of AAP government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to provide quality health services to the people through these ultra-modern clinics.
Chhina said that these clinics had offered timely services to the people thus helping to reduce patients’ load to secondary and tertiary health facilities. A total of 85 types of medicines and 41 various types of blood and urine tests are being offered to the patients free of cost to the patients in these clinics, she said and added that this paperless system of treating patients will help to give an authentic data of patients and the situation of the particular area.
Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner Surabhi Malik said that it was a matter of immense pride that the top three AACs of Punjab are from Ludhiana with the highest number of OPD. Chand Cinema AAC (24481 OPD) is on number one followed by Dhandari Kalan AAC (23435) and GK Enclave, Kehar Singh Colony AAC (21212) in Khanna.Malik appealed to the people to avail maximum benefit of these primary health care clinics near their localities.
