Barindermeet Singh Pahra takes over as Milkfed Chairman in presence of Deputy Chief Minister Randhawa and Ministers

Chandigarh : MLA Barindermeet Singh Pahra on Tuesday assumed charge as the Chairman of Milkfed in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa accompanied by the Cabinet Ministers Tripat Rajinder Singh Bajwa, Aruna Chaudhary, Sukhbinder Singh Sarkaria, Bharat Bhushan Ashu, Randeep Singh Nabha and Gurkirat Singh Kotli and Ex PCC Chief Sunil Jakhar. Congratulating the newly elected Chairman, Deputy Chief Minister Randhawa said that Under Mr. Pahra’s young leadership, the Milkfed will attain further heights. “The co-operative institutions are directly connected with the economy of the State especially the farmers in order to make the state more prosperous”, added Randhawa.

On his part, Mr Pahra while thanking the party, the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister, assured that he would fulfill the responsibility entrusted to them wholeheartedly. He further said that strengthening the cooperative movement would be his top priority.Prominent among others who were present at the occasion included Chairman Markfed Kushaldeep Singh Kikki Dhillon, MLAs Gurpreet Singh Kangar, Kulbir Singh Zira, Harpartap Singh Ajanala, Pritam Singh Kotbhai and Devinder Singh Ghubaya, Chairman Joginder Singh Mann, Chairman Harpreet Singh Sandhu, Ashok Chaudhary, ACS Cooperation Anurag Aggarwal, MD Milkfed Kamaldeep Singh Sangha, Dy CM’s Special Principal Secretary Varun Roojam, family members of Mr Pahra and Members of Board of Directors.
