DC Felicitates 50 Corona Warriors And Their Teams Under The ‘Mission Fateh’

Lauds The Officers For Displaying Exemplary Courage And Determination To Combat Covid 19 Pandemic

Jalandhar : The Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Varinder Kumar Sharma today felicitated 50 Corona Warriors and their teams with appreciation letters and badges under the ‘Fateh Mission’ launched by the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, a few days back.Patting the officers for exemplary service to the society during the Covid 19 pandemic, the Deputy Commissioner said that the Punjab government in general and the district administration in particular acknowledges the endeavor of these officers and their teams during the fight against Corona Virus. He said that the indomitable spirit and fortitude displayed by these officers was an example for the others. Mr. Sharma said that the war against Corona was particularly important as the enemy was totally invisible but the threat was large.The Deputy Commissioner said that however all the officers exhibited exemplary courage and determination during the fight due to which several precious lives were saved. He said that these Corona Warriors were the real heroes who had played a vanguard role to keep the pandemic at bay. Mr. Sharma expressed hope that the officers and their teams would continue to perform exceptionally well until the war against Corona was not won.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the ‘Mission Fateh’ was primarily aimed at spreading mass awareness about the Covid 19 pandemic. He said that the District Administration was duty-bound to play a key role in this exercise by serving as the link between the government and the people adding that it would motivate the people to remain vigilant and safe.
