Government industrial Training Institutes made Mission Fatah successful : Vimal Kumar Setia

Comprehensive campaign to carry out for the success of Mission Fatah: Shamsher Singh Purkhalvi

Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali) : With the aim of transforming the mission Fateh into the ground reality announced by the Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh, the Director of Technical Education and Industrial Training Department Vimal Kumar Setia IAS today visited the local government ITI (Women) and expressed his gratitude towards the contribution of the staff of the institution in the war against the Corona.While interacting with some journalists present on the occasion, Mr. Setia said that with the direction of Cabinet Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and under the guidance of Principal Secretary of the department Shri Anurag Verma IAS, all the government institutions have made a historical contribution by making 14 lakh masks in the war against the COVID-19. This novel initiative towards the humanitarian cause by the department has attracted the appreciation from the Chief Minister of the State, Captain Amarinder Singh and the Cabinet Minister of the Union Ministry, Mr. Mahendra Nath Pandey.Shri Setia said that purpose of his visit to this institution is to apprise the staff of the institution with the guidelines related to adopting various methods to carry the Mission Fateh at the doorsteps of each household of the state as announced by the Chief Minister. On this occasion, he also recorded his views in the visitor’s book with regards to the important role played by the institution in the war against COVID-19.Mr. Shamsher Purakhalvi, the Principal of the institute present on the occasion said that it was due to the decent leadership of the senior officials of the department that he was able to contribute 44561 masks on behalf of the institution in Corona War. On this occasion, the Director Shri Setia was felicitated with a memento by Mr. Purkhalvi on behalf of the entire staff of the institute. Later on, Mr. Purkhalvi assured the Director Mr. Setia that he would undertake a comprehensive campaign for the success of Mission Fateh with the concerted support of the entire staff so that the outbreak of Corona epidemic could be effectively defeated.Among others presented on the occasion included Mr. Anil Grover Regional Director Skill Development, RIC Incharge Mr. Kuldeep Singh, Superintendent Mr. Avtar Singh, Mr. Rakesh Dhalla, Mr. Varinderpal Singh Khalsa, Placement Officer Mr. Paramjitpal Singh, Mrs. Upasana Atri, Mrs. Darshana Kumari, Mrs. Amritbir Kaur Hundal, Mrs. Jasvir Kaur, Mrs. Rajni Banga, Kumari Alka, Miss Arshdeep Kaur and other staff members of the institute.
