MLA And DC Dedicate 56 New Citizen-Centric Services To The People
Now 327 Services To Be Offered To People Through Sewa Kendras
Jalandhar : To ensure smooth and hassle-free citizen-centric services within timeline under one-roof, Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Jalandhar West Sushil Kumar Rinku and Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori on Tuesday dedicated 56 new services belonging to revenue, police, and transport departments, to the people to be provided at Sewa Kendras.Participating in a virtual launch of the new services by Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh, MLA Jalandhar West and Deputy Commissioner said that out of 56 new services, 20 services belong to the Police, one of Revenue, and 35 of transport departments.They said that now a total of 327 citizen services would be provided to the people through 33 Sewa Kendras of the district.Sushil Kumar Rinku and Ghanshyam Thori also said that the administration has also evolved a mechanism to get the citizen’s feedback regarding the working of the Sewa Kendras.They stated that Sewa Kendras have been opened by the State Government to facilitate the people with 327 citizen services under one roof and any sort of laxity in delivery of these services is being dealt with strictly.They added that the Jalandhar district is delivering public services in a stipulated time-frame set up by the government since July and has the lowest pendency rate hitherto.They asserted that the administration is committed to ensuring prompt delivery of services to the people to avoid unnecessary delay.They revealed that officials are carrying out regular inspections in the Sewa Kendras and ensuring all applications get to settle in a time-bound manner without any inconvenience to the people.Meanwhile, Kulwinder Kumar, a resident of local Aman Nagar talked with the Chief Minister through video-conference and appreciated the state government for delivering the copy of the birth certificate of his granddaughter within the timeline.Prominent among present on the occasion included Assistant Commissioner Hardeep Singh, Deputy General Manager (Business Analysts) Prabhakar Singh, District Technical Coordinator Hatinder Malhotra, District Manager Harpreet Singh, district E-mail governance coordinator Gurpreet Singh, and others.

Acknowledgment of Complaint, Information of action taken on complaint, Copy of FIR or DDR, Copy of the untraced report in road accident cases, Copy of untraced report in case the stolen vehicle, Copy of untraced report in theft cases, NOC for use of loudspeakers, NOC for fair/melas/exhibition/sports events, NOC for pre-owned vehicles, Police Clearance for Visa, Missing Article, Missing Passport, Missing Mobile, Character Verification, Tenant Verification/PG, Employee Verification, Domestic Help or Servant Verification, Issuance of New Arm license, Renewal of New Arm License, Extension of Jurisdiction.
