MP Preneet Kaur Interacts with Successful Candidates through Video Conferencing Conducted at 7th Mega Job Fair at Mohindra College Patiala

District Employment Bureaus Playing Important Role in Guiding and Training Youth to Make Them Eligible for Jobs and Self Employment-Preneet Kaur

Patiala : Mrs Preneet Kaur, MP from Patiala and former Union Minister of State for External Affairs, today, congratulated the young aspirants over video conferencing, who have been selected for various jobs, during 7th State Level Mega Employment Fair, organized by District Bureau of Employment and Enterprise at Government Mohindra College, Patiala. About two dozen renowned companies and organisations attended the mega job fair and selected about 2900 out of the 4000 youth registered for employment.Mrs Preneet Kaur while wishing them a bright future ahead, said that the job fairs launched by the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh had ushered in a new era in Punjab as the employment opportunities provided by many institutions under one roof, were proving beneficial for the youth to find their preferred destiny.Applauding the district administration and the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprise for the success of this mega job fair organized at Government Mohindra College, the MP said that district bureau have played a pivotal role to shape the career of the youth not only by organising job melas instead imparting training to get prepare for the exams. Similarly, vocational training has also been provided to them for self-employment.A successful candidate, Priyanka from Nabha, who was selected for the ICICI Bank, thanked the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and said, that state government has done a lot for the unemployed youth by making available variuos job providers, under a single roof, otherwise they have to go to various organisations for interview to get a job.

Aishwarya, a girl from Kaithal, who has been selected as a teacher at Akal Academy, specially thanked the Chief Minister for providing her a beautiful platform to get a job of her choice. Similarly, other girls selected by Hindustan Unilever Limited Company also shared their experiences and thanked the Punjab Government and District Bureau of Employment and Enterprise, Patiala.Meanwhile, the representatives of various companies who had come to shortlist the youth for employment also lauded the arrangements made by district administration for this mega job fair and said that the students who came for the interviews were full of talent and skills. The representatives thanked the district administration for making available a large number of skilled youth under one roof as per their needs. They also said that the youth have been provided jobs as per their qualifications and opportunity of promotions would be given to these candidates from time to time.On this occasion, ADC (Development) cum CEO of the DBEE, Dr Preeti Yadav said that in this mega job fair, Federal Mogul, Akal Academy, Industries from Focal Point, ICICI Banks, ESGI Tools, GCM Convent Schoola and Other renowned companies have selected the young people. District Employment Generation Officer Mrs Simpi Singla said that the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprise has also conducted virtual interviews with outside companies.Prominent amongst others who were present on the occasion included PRTC Chairman K K Sharma, District Congress President (Urban) K K Malhotra, Women Congress President Kiran Dhillon, Youth Congress President Anuj Khosla, Principal, Government Mohindra College Dr Simrat Kaur and Staff and officers of District Bureau of Employment and Enterprise.
