Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain reviews the work of revenue department

S.A.S. Nagar : Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain has directed the officials to resolve the pending cases of the Revenue Department as soon as possible.Taking stock of the functioning of the Revenue Department at the Local Administrative Complex, Mrs. Ashika Jain said that any laxity in government work will not be tolerated and strict action will be taken against officials who will negligent in government working.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner instructed all the Tehsildars to complete the pending work on priority basis. Along with this, She also instructed all the SDMs to monitor this matter from time to time.Addressing the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner said that people should not face any problem for any work related to the Revenue Department.
The officials were instructed to follow up the pending court cases and settle them soon as possible. She also asked the officers to deposit the utilization certificate of the funds spent during the corona epidemic. The Deputy Commissioner also gave orders to made concrete efforts to remove the illegal encroachments in the district.
She said that all officers should ensure disposal of pending cases as per the set target. She directed the officials that all pending cases related to the district should be resolved before the next monthly review meeting. She said that online software method should be used for works, it saves time and pending cases can also be solved quickly.
The Deputy Commissioner instructed all the SDMs to keep more vigilance in their sub-divisions keeping in mind the weather in the coming days and to monitor the ongoing works for flood control in advance.Mrs. Amrinder Kaur Brar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (J), Mr. Tarsem Chand, Assistant Commissioner (J), Mr. Inderpal Singh, Assistant Commissioner (Grievances), Ms. Sarabjit Kaur SDM. Mohali, Shri Ravinder Singh SDM Kharar, Shri Himanshu Gupta SDM Derabassi were also present.
