PYDB Chairman Sukhwinder Singh Bindra felicitates Indian Kabaddi Team for promoting Sportsmanship among Youth

Also distributes Sports Kits to Team

Ludhiana: Punjab Youth Development Board Chairman Sukhwinder Singh Bindra today felicitated the members of Indian Kabaddi Team for promoting Sportsmanship among the Punjabi Youth, at his office here. On this occasion, he also distributed sports kits to the team members.While speaking on the occasion, the Chairman said that kabaddi is a game that connects people of our rural hinterland. He said that the entire team was also awarded with appreciation certificates.The team that interacted with Sukhwinder Singh Bindra comprised of captain Yadwinder Singh, Coach Mahinder Singh, Sultan Singh, Ranjodh Singh, Raghbir Singh, Gursharan Singh Dhaliwal, Jagmohan Singh, Navjot Singh, Jaspreet Singh, Mahla gobindpur, Harjit Singh, Aman pattar, Tarinder Singh, Johan ramidi, Mandeep Benra, Narinder Singh, Arshdeep singh, Aasaf Mohd, Amrit Singh, Gurlal singh, Balbir singh and Kamaljeet singh.

Bindra said that the Charanjit Singh Channi led Punjab government is committed for the promotion of sports in the state and that is why, an olympian, Pargat Singh, has been deputed as the Sports Minister of our state. He said that need of the hour is to engage the youth in sports which could help them to excel in their lives and asked them to become ambassadors of their respective areas.He said that Punjab Youth Development Board is fully committed for the betterment and development of the Youth of the State. He said the state government was leaving no stone unturned to ensure that Punjab emerges as a front runner state in the arena of sports under its Tandarust Punjab Mission.
