Before the municipal elections, AAP gives a big jolt to Congress

Chandigarh : Ahead of the municipal elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has given a major blow to the Congress. On Wednesday, over two dozen Congress councilors from five municipal councils of Punjab have joined the AAP.AAP’s Punjab affairs in-charge Jarnail Singh and state general secretary Harchand Singh Barsat formally inducted all the councilors into the party fold.
AAP MLA Jagdeep Kamboj Goldy and party’s chief spokesperson Malvinder Singh Kang were also present on the occasion.Councilors Hans Pal Singh, Ninder Sandhu, Rajwinder Kaur Bharti, Dr. Vaibhav Sharma, Surinder Kaint and Arun Sharma joined the party from Phillaur Municipal Council. Harmesh Lal from Goraya councilor have joined the party.
Bhogpur Municipal Council President Sanjeev Agarwal Agarwal and his fellow councilors Manju Agarwal, Manpreet Kaur, Vidwant Kaur, Sukhjit Singh, Balwinder Bhandari and Rakesh Mehta attended.From Municipal council Adampur, Kannu and Surendra Pal Milkhi Ram from and Vijay Kumar, Jasveer Kaur, Rampal, Sunil Kumar Neenu and Amandeep Singh from Mansa MC joined the party.
Apart from this, Pargat Singh Dhunna, former chairman of Punjab Sewerage Water Supply Board and Balwinder Singh Vicky from Amritsar East also joined the party.Welcoming all the leaders in the party, in-charge Jarnail Singh said that people are continuously joining the party after being impressed by the works of the Punjab and Delhi government by the Aam Aadmi Party. Like the assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party will register a thumping victory in the municipal elections.
