Cabinet Minister Gurkirat Singh lays the foundation stone for upgrading pavement, roads and parking on Sua Road in Grain Market Jagraon

Jagraon: Taking a step further in the initiation of the development projects for bringing benefits to the people, Cabinet Minister Gurkirat Singh laid the foundation stone for upgrading pavement, roads and parking on Sua Road in Grain Market Jagraon.This project with an estimated cost of Rs 4 crore,17 lac has been initiated under the able guidance of Chief Minister S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman Punjab Mandi Board S. Lal Singh has also played a significant role to make this project a reality.

The said project was much needed keeping in view the roads leading to the Grain Market of Khanna which is not just the hub of activity for the farmers, government agencies involved in procurement but also for the local populace using this road.Cabinet Minister in his address stated that Congress Government has made every move towards the development of the state. “We are committed to make Punjab a progressive state as is evident from the developmental projects carried out in every field,” the minister went on to add.Member parliament Ludhiana, S. Ravneet Singh Bittu along weith Chairman District Planning Board Ludhiana S. Malkit Singh Dakha were amongst the dignitaries present at the occasion.
