DC Honours 91 Members Of Covid Patient Tracking Team

Team Works Round The Clock In Tracking Covid Patients Under Home Isolation, Hospitalization Besides Updating Cova App -Ghanshyam Thori

Jalandhar : In recognition of the exemplary work ensured to contain the spread of COVID-19 efficaciously during its peak, Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori on Monday honoured as many as 91 members of Covid Patient Tracking team with letter of appreciation.During the ceremony, the Deputy Commissioner Mr. Thori lauded stupendous efforts infused by this team led by Covid Patient Tracking Officer Navneet Kaur Bal,  thus paving a way to control the virus spread in larger public interest. He also commended them for discharging their duties with utmost dedication in a prompt responsive way during the trying circumstances of COVID-19 in last and the current year. Tracking of patients was not an easy task but the dedication exhibited by the members of tracking team had become a very helpful for the health department and administration to protect other people to fall prey to this deadly virus, said Thori.

 

While giving away appreciation letters, Mr. Thori also mentioned that the these officials had constantly track and monitored the patients for 10 days during their home isolation besides tracking other patients of level-II and level-III. They had also ensured an effective coordination with the health department in its teams for regular check-ups of these patients, which saved several precious lives besides updating the data modules in COVA app. He also lauded the efforts of CPTOs for making up to date record of each and every person as well as giving special attention to pregnant and senior citizen.Meanwhile, CPTO Navneet Kaur Bal said that the team members had also well managed the coordination for for timely distribution of ration and fateh kits to the needy and patients respectively. Due to stellar role played by these teams, the ill-effects of Corona Virus could be kept under check in the district thereby ensuring well being of masses during this unprecedented health crisis, She added.
