MP Patiala Preneet Kaur Inaugurates new building of Arya Girls Senior Secondary School

Previous Captain Amarinder Singh led Punjab Govt did a lot of work to improve the School education system of Punjab, says Preneet Kaur

Patiala : Former External Affairs Minister and Member of Parliament from Patiala Preneet Kaur today inaugurated the newly renovated building of Arya Girls Senior Secondary School.Speaking to media Preneet Kaur later said that, “This school was in a bad shape when Captain Amarinder Singh led government took over the reins. But due to consistent efforts of the previous government, my daughter Jai Inder Kaur and the staff, the school has got a complete facelift now.”Preneet Kaur dedicated the newly renovated building to the people of the area and said, “The staff of the school is highly knowledgeable and hardworking and I’m sure that they will keep on working hard to produce great talent as the children are our future.”

Preneet Kaur further praised the previous Captain Amarinder Singh led govt for raising the standard of school education saying, “After taking over as the CM Captain Amarinder Singh did a lot of work in school development the result of which was that Punjab schools were ranked number 1 in the country. If we talk about Patiala city 44 schools were totally upgraded and renovated during our government.”The principal of the school Santosh Kumar thanked Member Parliament and Jai Inder Kaur and said, “We are extremely grateful to MP Preneet Kaur ji and Biba Jai Inder Kaur ji because it is only due to their intrest and consistent efforts have we been able to raise the infrastructural standard of the school. During Captain Amarinder government funds of Rs 15 Lakh were spent for the development of the school and even after the change of regime Jai Inder Kaur ji personally donated money so that the works of school could be completed.”Present during the inauguration were Jai Inder Kaur, SP Oberoi, KK Sharma, MC Happy Verma, manik singla among others.
