DC, SSP and District and Session Judge launch Documentary, Portrait and Brochure on significance of Shaheed–E–Azam Bhagat Singh Museum

Khatkar Kalan (Nawanshahr) : Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sandeep Kumar Sharma and District and Sessions Judge Kanwaljit Singh Bajwa on Wednesday launched a special Documentary, portrait and brochure depicting significance of Shaheed – E – Azam Bhagat Singh Museum on eve of International Museum Day. Lauding the advocate, author and Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu for preparing documentary, portrait and brochure, they said that this would help to spread awareness amongst people especially the youth about museum wherein the historical belongings of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev have been displayed including a pen used for signing the death sentence of these greatest heroes of country’s independence movement, two original pages of jail diary in handwriting of Shaheed Bhagat Singh.

 

They further stated that these great sons of our motherland had sacrificed their lives for the country and their lives are inspiration for the generations. They said that real tribute to our great martyrs would be to follow the footsteps shown by them and contribute in the development of country.They said museums are an important means of cultural exchange and development of mutual understanding, cooperation.Harpreet Sandhu said that the youth must visit this museum so that zeal of patriotism for the country can be imbibed in their minds and to know the life and philosophy of legendary martyrs of the India.Prominent among present on the occasion included AAP senior leader Kuljeet Singh Sarhal, ADCs Amardeep Singh Bains, Amit Sareen, SDM Navneet Kaur Bal and others.
