Distribution Of Medical Kits To Covid Positive Police Personnel Of Patiala Police

Patiala : Punjab Police being the frontline warriors in the State Govt’s containment efforts against the covid-19 is exposed to the virus in more than one way. As a result, the number of police personnel testing positive for covid-19 are increasing as the virus spreads across Punjab state.  As on 17.8.2020, a total of 129 police personnel of Patiala police have tested positive ranging from Home Guards to the SSP, out of which, 93 are active.As a welfare initiative for our corona warriors, Patiala police in consultation with Dr Sajila Khan, Medical Officer at Police Lines Patiala have designed a medical kit for Covid positive home isolated police personnel of Patiala police.

1. Face masks

2. Sanitisers

The above medical kit is an additional tool of help by Patiala police for its Covid positive police personnel. Nonetheless, they have to complete treatment as per medical standards issued to them.
